Dorota Furmańska-Radomska is a legal advisor entered on the list of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Łódź. She graduated from law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz, as well as postgraduate studies in the field of legal services for entrepreneurs at the same Faculty.

Dorota began her professional career in 2013 in as a litigation lawyer in a medium size law firm in Łódź. Then, in 2021, she joined the real estate and corporate practice of one of the biggest law firms in Łódź, led by Bartosz Dębski. In 2023, together with Bartosz Dębski, she founded the law firm Dębski Furmańska Radomska, with offices in Warsaw and Łódź.

Dorota specializes in handling court and administrative cases, in particular concerning real estate matters. Dorota has been involved in several hundred court proceedings and settlement negotiations, including many such proceedings conducted between Polish and foreign entities. She also supports entrepreneurs in the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts and broadly understood business law.

Due to the close cooperation of our firm with Danish lawyers and the Embassy of Denmark in Poland, Dorota advises many Danish companies on conducting business in Poland, and also represents Danish companies and individuals in proceedings before Polish courts.

Her recent notable cases include, among others:

  • conducting proceedings for compensation amounting to approximately PLN 10,000,000 due to our client in connection with the location of the railway line (tunnel) under our client’s property in Łódź city center;
  • representing a subsidiary of French capital group specializing in sale and assembly of furniture in a dispute against one of the largest Polish companies in the fuel industry, for the amount of approximately PLN 10,000,000;
  • representing an entity with Danish capital in several court disputes with a Polish minority shareholder;
  • conducting court cases with employees on behalf of a company with Danish capital;
  • conducting proceedings on behalf of a Polish entity with Indian capital in a dispute against entities from Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands, for the amount exceeding PLN 11,000,000;
  • supporting property owners in proceedings related to restrictions on the right to develop properties due to construction of the Polish Central Communication Port project including development of a new central Polish airport and railway lines between Warsaw and Łódź;
  • conducting proceedings related to claims arising from preliminary real estate purchase agreements on behalf of Polish real estate developer;
  • representing Danish citizens in inheritance cases concerning real estate and other assets located in Poland;
  • conducting court proceedings on behalf of real estate owners against utility companies for the establishment of easements for remuneration and for non-contractual use of real estate;
  • conducting proceedings on behalf of a subcontractor of construction works against a general contractor;
  • conducting proceedings on behalf of the landlord for claims arising from the lease agreement against tenants and their representatives;
  • representing the client in a dispute regarding the granting of a building permit;
  • representing the investor in disputes with construction contractors;
  • representing the owner of a shopping center in proceedings regarding the legalization of unauthorized construction;
  • conducting business criminal cases in connection with disputes between company shareholders;
  • advising a developer on the conclusion of several real estate lease agreements for the purpose of developing photovoltaic farms;
  • participation in a legal audit of a hotel complex in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship worth several hundred million zlotys and assistance in negotiating agreements related to the planned acquisition of this facility by an entity with Polish and English capital;
  • preparation and negotiation of contracts related to the implementation of construction works;
  • participation in legal audits of several properties throughout Poland in connection with their planned purchase, sale or lease;
  • support in setting up several companies for Danish entities.
